Sitebuilder Users

ProQuest has a new, more powerful way for users to create and share links. The Sitebuilder Wizard has been replaced with a new tool--My Research Summary. With My Research Summary you collect the articles, publications and searches you want to save to your Marked List. Then you can edit the list, add comments and headers, and save the collection to a web page.

Why The Change?

My Research Summary makes it easier for users to create and share links. Instead of needing a separate SiteBuilder Account, users simply log in to ProQuest, create a marked list, and save the links.

What about my current pages?

Your current pages will still work. PQ Next is completely backward compatible. There is no need to recreate pages you have already created and are using.

If you do want to change your links to the new OpenURL format, see the Linking section of the TRC for information and instructions.

What about my saved pages?

If you have saved pages to the ProQuest server, you will need to download these pages and save them locally. Because the SiteBuilder service is being eliminated, these pages will no longer be stored on the ProQuest server.

Special Applications

Any special applications that you may have created using SiteBuilder will continue to work.
